Course objectives
The course is a synthesis of a block of sourses aimed at creating, finalizing and submitting the diploma thesis. The aim of the courses is the submission of the diploma thesis.
Learning outcomes
Completed and submitted diploma thesis in the university information system.
The master's degree is at least 140,000 characters for the LIS. In the electronic version, it is handed over to IS MU. The printed version is written on white A4 paper, numbered sheets are attached to hardboards that can not be decomposed. The obligatory part of the thesis is the title page which contains the name of the university, faculty, institute, name of the work, name of the processor, name of the supervisor and year of processing. The diploma thesis also contains a statement by the author about the origin of the work, the content and the list of used literature. Topics of diploma theses are commissioned especially by teachers listed in the catalog of courses. The diploma thesis is defended by public defense at the Department of Information Studies and Librarianship, see study guidelines.

  • The content of the course is mostly individual activities of students in writing in the intentions of the course:
  • - Interaction with expert texts;
  • - Consulting the content of the work with the supervisor;
  • - Consultation of the expert part of the work with the expert consultant;
  • - Seminar debates
