Course objectives
Active knowledge of museum educator´s profession by participation on all activities of this work; attainment of basic competence for education work in museum or other cultural institution; participation on practical realisation of educational actvities in form of group cooperation.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- describe the basic characteristics of the professional activities of a museum educator;
- analyze current museum-didactic approaches and trends in the work of a museum educator with a museum audience;
- develop own competence in the field of museum didactics;
- design your own educational activities, suitable in the environment of a specific type of museum.
Syllabus
  • Practice in education center of specified museum (the offer is presented at the initial information meeting) during one semester taking 100 hours; students participate on professional educational activities of education center in museum; e.g. assist in creation and realization of educational programme and other activities for public, creation of working sheets etc.
