Course objectives
At the end of the course student should be to: understand the basic terms of text linguistics and the methods of text analysis; explain the terms text structure, cohesion, coherence, theme, function of text; determine the text types; analyze and interpret German texts;
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course student should be able to: perform a comprehensive analysis of a text type with respect to its function and structure
