- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to inform students about problems of children with autistic sprectrum disorders, about their specific needs a and about impact of these diagnosis on the family system.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
- understand specific needs of children with ASD and their families;
- applied theoretical knowledge into working with children with ASD and participate in it;
- create suitable plan of activities for families with children with ASD. - Syllabus

- 2. basic theoretical information on Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- 3.case studies seminar - meeting with parents of children with ASD
- 4. practical demonstrations of programmes for children with ASD (canistherapy, musictherapy,...)
- 5. participation in preparing and organisation of activities for families with children with ASD
