- Course objectives
- The course objective is to apply the findings from the lectures on Modern Diplomatics I and II to specific material.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- analyse modern-age diplomatic material
- interpret the content of individual scripts
- independently define new types of script that have not been previously worked on
- establish their typological differences - Syllabus
- The seminar focuses on the reading and subsequent analysis of various types of documents from the Modern Age. Excerpts for discussion will also cover areas which have not been studied by diplomatics because some of the documents (particularly from the Modern Age) have yet to be researched. Different administrative approaches will also be examined.
