- Course objectives
- In the seminar we will pay attention to the possibilities we have in the area of language assessment and evaluation. We will focus on Czech as a mother tongue as well as a foreign/second language. We will get acquainted with the experimental research methods. Different types of tests and exams will be introduced - their production and verification. Assessment possibilities will be sketched within different target groups (not only according to age) and within different language competences (reading, writing, speaking and listening). Different official exams for Czech as a foreign/second language will be analysed (leaving exam, permanent residence, citizenship, Certified exam etc.). Last but not least all the materials will be interpreted through the lens of the Common European Framework for Languages.
