Course objectives
The aim of the course is to support learners' knowledge, skills, attitudes and experience base to become tutors of online courses. They will gain practical experience that they can then apply to their tutoring practice. In this respect, it is a practice-oriented course that leads to the development of tutor competence.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:
- Tutor online courses in a university environment
- Provide feedback to learners.
- Operate IS from a teacher's perspective.
- Organise peer assessment of learners.
- Create simple learning materials.
- Communicate with learners.
- Resolve common conflict situations.
- Motivate learners and prevent academic failure in online courses.

  • Tutor as a feedback provider;
