Assessment methods
50% Activity in the lesson: As the course relies heavily on a large number of primary sources of Chinese (usually in English translation) and foreign origin, the student will be required to read the assigned texts. In class, we will discuss the texts and place them in the historical framework based on the acquired historical knowledge. Intensive home preparation is therefore essential. If during the semester, it turns out that the student did not read the given text, he will not pass the course after the third time he is caught. 50% Semester work: 3 videos summarizing 1) the period, 2) the event and 3) the personality, each video must be uploaded by the deadline, after which there will be a peer review. The video will be 5-7 minutes long, the ability to clearly and concisely describe the researched question (period, personality and event), place it in a wider political and social framework and the presentation will be evaluated.
