- Course objectives
- The students knows basic goals and methods of linguistics; understands the term of linguistic sign and is able to work with it; distinguishes diachronic and synchronic metodology of linguistics;is able to operate with the elementar terms and methods of basic disciplines, including phonetics and phonology, morphology, lexicology and syntax.
- Learning outcomes
- Student is able, after finishing the course: - to understand the language as a system of signs - to distinguish the synchronic and diachronic approach to the study of languages - to know the basic terminology of linguistics
