- Course objectives
- The course aims to reduce the number of dropouts among first-year students.
- Learning outcomes
- The course improves your writing and speaking skills, helps you overcome language inhibitions.
- Syllabus
- 1. Talk about feelings and problems of arriving in a new city. Create your own internet profile. 2. The throw-away society, food yesterday and today. 3. Time experiences, contemporary history. 4. Make assumptions about a picture. Volunteering and experiences with selfishness. 5. Looking for a flat, understanding flat advertisements. Formulate advice on housing search based on your experience. 6. Thirst for knowledge. Read about the world. Report on own experiences.

- Teaching methods
- Short term papers. Most common language problems. Proofreading texts. Spontaneous utterances with different speech occasions.
