- Course objectives
- The course is taught by recognized experts in pedagogy and didactics, especially experts in the field of e-learning or the use of digital technologies. Czech or foreign experts are invited. The aim of the course is to introduce students to current topics, new approaches and future directions in the use of ICT in education or profiles of various professions. An integral part of each lecture and follow-up workshop is an open discussion with the lecturer, but above all active work on projects with a variety of designs led by invited instructors. The character of the course is intended as preparation of students for their own professional practice.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
- understand new topics in the field of pedagogy, education, the use of ICT in education;
- describe and explain selected aspects of various professions in the field of pedagogy, e-learning, continuing teacher education, but also as regards editors of professional (online) pedagogical journals, etc.;
- describe and explain the tasks, powers, and responsibilities of selected professions;
- design, implement, and evaluate individual projects aimed at the use of ICT in education, or to evaluate implemented projects, as applicable;
- apply the acquired knowledge in their own professional practice. - Syllabus
- 1) Introductory meeting with students (introduction to the program, assignment of seminar papers / projects)
- 2) Teaching by experts (lecture combined with a practical application of selected knowledge and skills).
- 3) Final discussion of what students learnt from individual lectures, discussion of seminar projects.

- Requirements for successful completion of the course: participation in all lectures. Participation will be checked against the attendance register. Defence of a seminar project.
