Course objectives
The aim is for the student to acquire practical skills for standard communication within the scientific community, especially in the form of presenting his/her own specialist work and participating in public critical discussion in specialist forums in the field.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to communicate the topics of his/her research within the scientific community (e.g., by actively participating in a scientific conference, writing a review of a specialist article, annotating, etc.).
Syllabus
  • On the basis of consultations with the supervisor, a paper will be prepared that will be publicly presented at a relevant specialist forum.
Literature
  • The specialist literature follows from the focus of the paper.
  • Odborná literatura vyplývá ze zaměření referátu.
Teaching methods
The preparation of the communication output is progressively consulted with the supervisor during individual consultations.
Assessment methods
Credit is awarded by the supervisor on the basis of the student demonstrating his/her practical communication skills within the scientific community.
