- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to expand and improve digital competences and the ability to use AI in further self-development of Russian language teachers in primary and secondary schools.
Sub-objectives:
- To introduce teachers to modern technologies and online tools for teaching Russian,
- introduce the possibilities of artificial intelligence in the creation of teaching materials, assessment and support for students,
- learn how to work with digital resources and verify their credibility,
- learn methods of gamification, adaptive learning and personalisation of learning using digital tools.
- apply the acquired knowledge to specific teaching scenarios and strategies in Russian classes. - Learning outcomes
- Upon completion of the course, the trainee will be able to:
- use modern technologies and online tools for learning Russian.
- use the possibilities of artificial intelligence in the creation of teaching materials, assessment and support for students,
- work with digital resources and verify their credibility,
- effectively use methods of gamification, adaptive learning and personalisation of learning using digital tools. - apply the acquired knowledge to specific teaching scenarios and strategies in Russian classes. - Syllabus

- In order to successfully complete the course, it is necessary to attend at least 3 of the 4 seminars/meetings and pass the final interview on the topics covered. The course also includes partial independent home preparation and its control in the form of continuous oral and written testing and a final interview.
