- Course objectives
- For a number of decades, the African continent has been producing literary works written in both local and European languages. That rich and enriching production remains, however, little known in this country. In our course, we will read a few works written in English by African authors and discuss their thematic and formal aspects. It will be, for most of us, the first meeting with the respective writers and the literature/s they belong to, which, hopefully, will develop into a more permanent interest.
