Uskutečňuje se po dohodě s některým odborným pracovištěm v návaznosti na řešení jeho výzkumných úkolů. Vedle toho studenti realizují vlastní projekty terén. výzkumu podle svého zaměření. Výsledky terén. výzkumu jsou předkládány v podobě závěrečné zprávy v rozsahu 20 stran.
