Course objectives
The purpose of this seminary is to get knowledge of the beginning and the development of media, their function in a process of interpersonal communication, pro-and-con of each medium.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Stručný obsah: 1. Obecné principy mezilidské komunikace, lineární a cirkulární model. 2. Komunikační prostředky, jejich klasifikace. 3. Mediální komunikace, médium v pojetí McLuhana. Horká a chladná média. 4. Fylogenetický a historický pohled na vývoj médií (DeFleur, McLuhan) 5. Specifický přínos jednotlivých médií pro člověka. 6. Masová mediální komunikace. Model injekční jehly, model dvoustupňového procesu. 7. Vliv sdělovatele a sdělovatelské organizace na obsah sdělení. 8. Recipient. Vliv osobnosti recipienta na příjem sdělení. Uspávací účinek, bumerangový efekt. 9. Agrese jako specifický fenomén. Teorie agrese. 10. Teorie vlivu mediální (televizní) agrese na diváka. 11. Výzkumy množství a vlivu televizního násilí. 12. Možnosti dalšího výzkumu, návrhy studentů.
