Course objectives
The course is devoted to the fiction works of Julius Zeyer. Students will get a picture about chosen works by Zeyer and about their composition.
Syllabus
  • After an introduction to works of Zeyer and to his position in Czech literary and cultural context of his time, Particular works will be looked upon: Ondřej Černyšev, Román o věrném přátelství Amise a Amila, Jan Maria Plojhar, Dům u tonoucí hvězdy a Tři legendy o krucifixu.
