- Course objectives
- Religions in Mezoamerica and in the Andean region during the pre-Columbian period; religions based on state organization, i.e. those of Maya, Aztecs and Inca; "substratum" religions of the Olmec, Teotihuacán and Toltecs (Mezoamerica), and of Chavín, Paracas, Tihuanaco, Nazca, Mochica and Chimor (Andean region).
