Course objectives
General and specific linguistics; typologie and classification of languages.
Syllabus
  • Mathesius'language acts, Bühlers'orgaon, nd Jakobsons'shifters. Double articulation of human language. Linguistic sign and its decomposition into form-function relations. Linguistc system, its centre and periphery. Phoe,es and graphemes. Sentence and utterance. Linguistc typology. Linguistic relationship and proximity "family, Sprachbund". Convergence and differentiation.
