Course objectives
The course is focused on facts concerning characteristic features of Czech dialects from both synchronic and diachronic points of view. Attention is paid eg to methodology of Modern Czech dialectology, to the characterization of contemporary spoken language and tendencies in its development.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Předpokladem pro udělení zápočtu je prokázaná základní orientace v českých dialektech a odevzdání seminární práce shrnující výsledky vlastního nářečního výzkumu v místě bydliště, resp. v doporučené nářeční lokalitě.
