Course objectives
Optional seminar that will attempt to develop students abilities in creating professional texts of different genres, especially final dissertations, studies and essays. This course is meant to be a cataloque of the methods and the techiques for succesive phases of the academic writing. It concerns in the creative as well as the technical and the organizational aspects of this work.
Syllabus
  • Choice from different exercises and techniques: looking for a theme, forming goal, forming hypotheses, changing wording, cutting, methods of critical evaluation, revision in collective. Searching of the theme, formulation of the hypothesis, creating the syllabus, planning the work, the chronological axis, work with the primary literature, collecting and utilizing the material, principles of the quotations,textual excercises, evaluation and objection at the work, art techniques in the academic work.

Dr. Fišer: Požadavky k zápočtu: autorský soubor textů a artefaktů vytvořených v rámci semináře, aktivní účast v kursu. Termín odevzdání: do konce semestru v tištěné, resp. elektronické podobě. Mgr. Cholastová: Aktivní účast v seminářích, textový výstup.
