- Course objectives
- The lecture introduces the students to crucial topics and categories of world literary theoretical thought. The lecture will follow historical development of literary theoretical though as well as its comparable features.
- Syllabus
- Russian Formalist School (or pro forma?), Franch narrative grammars, or What is next?, Person or Character?, Fictiomal Worlds as a paradigmatic issue, Umberto Eco - a conservative radical. Guests: P.A. Bilek, Tomas Kubicek, Ondrej Sladek.
