Course objectives
The main aim of the course is to revise and enhance students' knowledge and skills and develop them further, focusing on professional needs of the graduates, in public and working spheres in particular. The syllabus was put together on the basis of the Common European Reference Frame for Languages (Council of Europe 2001; Czech edition UP,ISBN 80-2440404-4.) The entry level is A2, the target level should correspond to the highest level of this frame - B 2 (i.e. independent user). For detailed descriptions of communicative activities and strategies for all language skill please see the above book (pp. 60-89). Students will be motivated to try to achieve progress through self-study.
