- Course objectives
- This course will look at aspects of the writing of Pat Barker and John Berger in relation to relevant aspects of cultural theory and literature concerning World WarI.The aim of the course will be to consider how the two writers have contributed to the development and problematisation of 'realism' in literary writing.
