- Course objectives
- In the seminar the students work with a particular text which is supposed to be processed to the form ready for publishing.
The aim of the course is to enable the students to choose and process an authentic text intended for publication.
After finishing the course the students will be able to:
process the text to the form ready for publishing
to write an editors commentary (note)
to proofread the text and approve the proof before the publication. - Syllabus
- First of all the basic text will be identified from the whole set of source texts. This text will susequently compared with all the source texts and all the differences will be marked and described. The final text will be finalised for publishing, a detailed editors note included. The finished text will be published by a chosen publishing house.
