Course objectives
Practical courses in the third year of the Bachelor’s study programme further deepen the students’ knowledge in the fields of morphology, syntax and vocabulary. Grammatical phenomena are explained according to the latest Italian studies, with an emphasis on the paradigmatic structure and a broader context.
Syllabus
  • Special attention is paid to the tendencies witnessed in the modern Italian language. Seminars are devoted to analysis of original journalistic texts and of real-life materials. Continuous assessment by means of grammatical and lexical tests, tests checking the understanding of written and spoken language and various essays is a part of the course. Various writing tasks are studied through essays submitted by the students.
