Course objectives
Literature of the 20th century (second part). The course aims at providing a general knowledge of the most renowned authors in Italian literature after World War II.

Italská literatura 20. století (2. část). Cílem kurzu je poskytnout všeobecný přehled autorů italské literatury období od konce druhé světové války po současnost.
Syllabus
  • You should be familiar with the following authorsm works and topics (to be studied on Ferroni's History of literature or an equivalent):
  • Ignazio Silone; Cesare Pavese; Primo Levi; Carlo Levi; Beppe Fenoglio; Italo Calvino; Carlo Emilio Gadda; Luigi Malerba; Dario Fo; Umberto Eco; Antonio Tabucchi; Ascanio Celestini.
  • You should also be familiar with ALL the excerpts that were read during lectures and any other author that was eventually dealt with during the course.
