- At the end of this course students are able to:
- read and translate a simple medieval Latin text (chronicle, legend, hymn, sequence, epic poetry, legal document, letter, exemplum...)
- comprehend specific features of medieval Latin in its writen form, in morphology and in style - Syllabus

- The course is taught as both lectures and seminars. Credit is awarded for showing the ability to translate a simple medieval Latin text and to comprehend specific features of a medieval document. Oral exam. Attendance is required.
