- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to provide basic information about the proto-historical and historical development of Latin in the Indo-European context and in relationship to the Italic languages of ancient Italy. Students learn to recognize various language changes, as attested by literary and epigraphic sources.

- 12. Nouns and adjectives of the I. and II. declension.
- 13. Nouns and adjectives of the III. declension.
- 14. Comparison of adjectives of the III. declension.
- 15. Numerals.
- 16. Characteristics of thematic verbs of the I.-IV. conjugation. (present stem)
- 17. Personal endings.
- 18. Tenses derived from present stem.
- 19. System of Latin perfect tense.
- 20. Tenses derived from perfect stem.
