Course objectives
The aim of the course is to teach students to gain information of written and 3-dimensional documents and how to use them in the scientific way in the museum environment.
Syllabus
  • Collecting and documentation in terrain. Topography, finding situation, documentation by photo and video, geodesic survey.
  • Documentation in labs. Treating of objects.
  • Registration, work with documentation cards, computer in documentation.
  • Observing, documentation of object in the sphere of monument care, museums in concrete situations.
  • Computers - database systems.
