Course objectives
The aim of this course is to create the adequate academic circumstances for an autonomous translation from Norwegian to Czech. The procect work is supposed to be published - either in the computer or book form.

  • 1. Theoretical introduction. The possibilities and aims of the project. 2. The adequate texts selection 3. Johan Harstads short stories 4. Dialogues on the translation problems

Assessment methods
The lessons concentrate on class discussion, group project and written results. The consultations can be organized at the Masaryk University, but also at another Czech or Norwegian university - with the professionals in the sector.
