Course objectives
Reading and interpretation attempt of selected texts from the analytical philosophy.
Texts (preliminary selection):

- Bertrand Russell: A Free Man's Worship

- Rudolf Carnap: Überwindung der Metaphysik durch logische Analyse der Sprache
- Ludwig Wittgenstein: Über Gewißheit / On Certainty
- Willard Van Orman Quine: From a Logical Point of View
- Richard Rorty: Essays On Heidegger And Others Philosophical Papers
- Donald Davidson: Truth and Predication
Texts will be available in the e-learning system before the semester starts. The concrete content of the seminar will be determined in the first lesson. Suggestions and preferences of students can be considered.
