Course objectives
Practice in the social care I: This course aims to familiarize a student with regular operation in social care workplaces.
Syllabus
  • The practice is unpaid and a student performs unqualified support work. The working place is of student's choice (e. g. in his/her place of residence). The practice must be held outside of the school hours (e. g. during exam period or holidays). For the list of selected workplaces visit the department web pages or ask the tutor.

Assessment methods
Practice – 5 days, type of completion: credit. Admission conditions: 1) Protocol of practice including verbal assessment, stamped and signed by responsible official, 2) brief report (1-2 pages) on student's work, signed by responsible official, 3) student's formal assessment of the experience – contribution to his/her personal development.
