Course objectives
Lecture and seminar cycle should offer to the students the basic overwiew about the development of the Latin script at the Modern Period, it means since the VXI. Century AD to the XX. Century AD. Students shoudl be able to distinguish the typ of the script and its dating as well as paleographic characteristic of the script, they shlould to make a paleographical analysis and comparison and transcription of medieval latin, german and czech texts. Very important is knowledge of the basic literature to the medieval Latin script including main editions/book series.
