- Course objectives
- This course introduces students to the basics of ethnographic practices of fieldwork. All themes and practices will be interrelated with inquiry into current forms of religion and social construction of religios imagination. Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to learn basic practices of descriptive and participative observation; to learn basic techniques of writing fieldnotes and coding; by means of short, coordinated fieldwork practices in everyday contexts students will be able to learn etnographic techniques by means of "learning by doing".
