Course objectives
The course is a a consecutive course of Japanese Language I. from the previous semester. It aims at a thorough mastery of basic Japanese gammar, inflexion of word classes and increase in vocabulary. Students will also be introduced to the second of Japanese syllabary alphabets, the katakana. The objective of the course is the students’ ability of verbal expression in Japanese language and fluent reading and writing of hiragana and katakana.

Assessment methods
The course will be assessed after completing the final test, which will summarize the expressions and grammar learned throughout the course. The examination will focus on hiragana.
