- Course objectives
- Main aim of subject is to extend managerial knowledge and skills of undergraduates in system thinking, foundation od cybernetics and information theory and to facilitate co-operation with computer scientists during design and implementation of information systems changes in organizations. There are three pragmatic goals moreover: First – to familiarise undergraduates with particular business information systems and with possibility of their utilization in managerial work. Second – to extend undergraduates knowledge and skills to area of practicable and efficient co-operation with specialist computer scientists. Third – to warn undergraduates to respect information systems user’s requirements . There is awareness of work continuity with other users of information systems, awareness of enterprisewide as warranty of quality decision after partial aims.
