Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The students can get work experience during their study that will count as an optional course. This work experience must be connected with the subject of the study of the Dutch Language and Literature. Acceptable are the following occupations: commercial sphere, where the student uses his/her knowledge of the Dutch language and institutions, translation/interpreting, redaction work, administrative or organisatory work for cultural institutions or in the third sector where the student again uses his/her knowledge of the Dutch language, culture or institutions. It is also possible to get the work experience in the Netherlands or in Belgium. In advance the student is obliged to discuss the choice of the institution where he/she wants to work with the head of the Dutch section and the student will discuss the project which he/she will work on. The aim of this course is to enable the student to get a practical work experience so that he/she can get a good job in the "Dutch sector" after graduation. This experience will be evaluated with a project written in Dutch. n
