- Course objectives
- Second part of propaedeutic subject will directly continue on subject VIKBA01 Information Science 1. Issues in mediation of information, professional terminology, to demand of information career and existing trends of information science are major themes for the course. Students are introduced to fundamentals, reason and current situation of information science. At the end of this propaedeutic motivational course, students should be able: - define concepts of communication, globalization, computerization - handle basic methods of information science - describe a mediation of information and knowledge - define a role of information professional in society - write scholarly essay
