- Course objectives
- The course is focused on acquiring knowledge of the sorting algorithms and databases, of the data backup and data protection. Deals with the use of informatics in the biomedicine. Students will have an overview of the algorithms in medical decision, the probability reasoning, data uncertainty and fuzzy logic. One part is the introduction to expert systems and their usage.
Students should be able to design and implement sorting algorithms, will understand database systems, will be acquainted with the use of information technology in biomedicine, understand and explain the concept of expert system and its usage. - Syllabus
