Course objectives
The principal goal of the course is to inform on the ethnogenesis of Slovenes and their traditional culture; overview of the ethnic history of Slovenia; ethnographic regionalisation of the Slovenian territory; ethnologic research development (18th – 20th century); from traditional folk culture to the contemporary way of living of the Slovenes; analysis of modern Slovenian ethnology and anthropology.
