- Course objectives
- Following the topic of the belgian fantastic litterature, with application on novels.
- Syllabus
- Belgian fantastic 1) Specific features 2) Methods of analysis 3) Analyses of extracts: authors of the times and various forms. 4) Student presentations.

- Teaching methods
- Seminar: Application of the acquired theoretical knowledge on authentic texts. In the form of a presentation the students show their capability to connect their theoretical knowledge while working with a concrete text.
- Assessment methods
- Colloquium : is obtained for attendance and active participation in the course (min. 80 %) and after successfully completing a final test (success rate 80 %) where students prove their capability to connect theoretical knowledge with the analysis and interpretation of literary texts. In disputed assessment cases the professor can ask the students for an additional interview over a presentation made in the seminar.
