Course objectives
The course aims at showing with practical exercises how to prepare a critical edition.
Syllabus
  • The course includes deeper investigation on topic that were already discussed during the first semester, reading of specialised essays and practical exercises in textual criticism. Since the course is quite technical, you are strrongly reccomended to attend lectures.

Teaching methods
Seminar: Application on authentic texts of the theoretical knowledge acquired during the first semester. In the form of a presentation the students show their capability to connect their theoretical knowledge while working with a concrete text.
