Programme of II Cycle requires knowledge of topics and literature of subjects: PSA 019, PSA O36 - Psychology o Development I, II, PSA 052 Consulting Psychology, PSA O53 Psychological Diagnostics og Children and Adolescents. Attendance of obligatory briefing in semester where student registers chosen subject is neccessry. Date and place of meeting will be notified by email well in advance. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- Two weeks short-term attachment /10 working days/ in pedagogical psychological consultancies and other state ú private institutions working in field of care for children and adolescents within Czech Republic. Aim of subject study is to obtain basic orientation and overview of work of psychologists in these organizations and knowledge of practice within specialized framework og consulting psychology. - student will gain basic knowledge and orientation in special practical topics making content of psychologists work in these work places - student will gain basic practical experience to work with client /under supervision of psychologist/ - student will gain practical experience in working with diagnostic method /under supervision of psychologist/
- Syllabus
- Duration of short-term attachment practice is two weeks. It si recommended to split stay in: - one week duration of short-term attachment practice in some of pedagogical psychological consultancies - one week duration short term attachment in other state institutions working within framework of educational resort /for instance SPC, schools of special needs, homes for youths etc./, or in private establishements working with children and adolescents - list of which can be found in PsÚ secretary office. Durin short-term attachment practice students task is /with agreement of psychologist leading specified work place/: - to conduct one anamnesis under supervision of psychologist - to work using one diadnostic method /recommended is WISC III/, under supervision of psychologist.

- Teaching methods
- Students are required to secure both two weeks of shor-term attachment practice in recommended work places by themselves. Tuitions are run in parts. Students are required to submit to working order of chosen working place and keep themselves with rules of professional etiquette.
- Assessment methods
- Requirement for obtaining of credit is submission of written paper which has to contain: - confirmation of active work participation from individual work places to be recorded in "Protocol about finished short term attachment practice in consulting psychology" - written compilation of one anamnesis conducted under supervision of psychologist - written elaboration of one diagnostic method /used under supervision of psychologist/ containing: observation from process of work with method, overview of results and basic diagnostic conclusions - personal reflection on work stay
