- Course objectives
- Johann Santini-Aichl and Christopher Dientzenhofer were of the leading architects of the Central European Baroque - its the radical branch. While the significance of the first of them is clearly recognized in the Arthistory, around the second name is from time to time breaking out disputes about his authorship. The classic manifestation of the earlier -Brno- contradiction (ie. Santini contra Dientzenhofer ) developed among pupils Vaclav Richter. Seminar will now connect the approaches - classically formal- analytical, methodological and function-receptive, so that we can bring to the problem again, but with regard to new knowledge than ever before.
