- Course objectives
- The course is not being taught in the standart form; during consultations the student solves the actual problems and answers questions concerning the text, which is prescribed to translation.
At the end of this course, students should be able to translate and interpret one selected drama of Menander and Aristophanes in a correct way, and they should also be well informed about the metres of the Greek comedy. - Syllabus
- One comedy of Aristophanes or Menander (the students choose on the basis of their individual interests).
