Cílem předmětu je podat studentům základní informace o dějinách čínského myšlení od počátku středověku do současnosti.

Na konci tohoto kutzu bude student schopen:

chápat vývoj čínského myšlení v historických a společenských souvislostech;
rozumět základním pojmům čínského myšlení;
umět interpretovat čínský filozofický text v českém překladu;
chápat význam tradičního čínského myšlení pro současnost (význam tradice pro fungování současné čínské společnosti a politiky
