- Famous 20th century polish authors (Miłosz, Herbert, Szymborska, Gombrowicz, Mrożek, Barańczak, Zagajewski, Krynicki, Głowacki, Słobodzianek, Świetlicki, Masłowska).

- Lectures combined with seminar discussions, independent work.

- Regular attendance (3 absences per semester are allowed), 1 seminar paper.
