Course objectives
The aim of this course is to help students work independently with uknown texts that are diffucult to interpret. At the end of the programme the student should be able to:
- use the knowledges from the development od the latin script from the XVI.th to the XX.th Cent. on the historical sources
- transcribe selected original (Latin, German, Czech) texts from the XVI.th to the XX.th Cent.
- analyse and read original (Latin, German, Czech) texts from the XVI.th to the XX.th Cent.
Syllabus
  • Practice of transcription and the basics of editing techniques are examined on a text from 16th-20th centuries
