- At the end of the course students will be able to:
Define the basic terms from the field of book culture
Explain the relations of individual approaches to book design, printing and distribution
Formulate conclusions on historical aspects of book making
Summarize findings from the field of typography and book design - Syllabus

- 2) Book as a labyrinth / book as its catalogue - origins of European culture
- 3) Dawn of humanism, Guttenberg
